Erica Lee, O.D., is a dedicated optometrist practicing at Bella Optical in San Antonio, TX. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2024. Prior to her optometric studies, Dr. Lee graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Dr. Lee’s passion for optometry stems from her early exposure to the field, as both of her parents were opticians. This upbringing instilled in her a deep understanding of the importance of vision in people’s lives and inspired her to pursue a career in optometry.
What Dr. Lee finds most rewarding about her profession is the opportunity to enhance and maintain her patients’ vision and overall eye health, making a meaningful impact on their lives. She takes pride in building strong, lasting relationships with her patients and finds fulfillment in educating them about their eye care.
Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling to different destinations, and cherishing quality time with her family and beloved dogs. Dr. Lee is fluent in English and Korean.
Dr. Valerie Winfrey completed her undergraduate schooling at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She furthered her education by obtaining a Doctorate of Optometry degree from the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry.
Dr. Winfrey has been practicing since 2013 and joined EyeTX in 2019. She became an optometrist because she loved going to the eye doctor as a child. She knew she wanted to be a doctor, and having bad eyesight pointed her in the right direction.
Dr. Winfrey enjoys meeting new people and helping them improve one of their most important senses – vision. When she’s not caring for her patients, she loves singing, hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Michael Aguilera, O.D., was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio as an undergraduate, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He was trained in providing primary eye care, dry eye management, and treatment and management of various ocular diseases.
He is currently licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Aside from work, he enjoys attending sporting events and concerts and exercising.
Dr. Anderson is a graduate of Baylor University and The University Of Houston Optometry School and has been in practice since 1982. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, The Bexar County Optometric Society, The Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
He is also a Therapeutic and Glaucoma licensed Optometrist. He enjoys being with his family in his spare time, traveling to Hawaii, scuba diving, and hiking!
Hang Jiang, O.D. was born in China but raised in Georgia for most of her life. Hang Jiang received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Georgia State University in May 2011. She received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in May 2016. During her internship, she completed rotations at the Mcwethy optometry clinic at Fort Sam Houston and the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, NC.
During her spare time, Jiang enjoys working out, music, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
George Green, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston’s College in 2016. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Green’s special field of interest is specialty and scleral contact lenses.
The support and recommendation he received from his mentor, Dr. Anderson, strongly influenced Dr. Green’s decision to pursue a career in optometry. It is a highly specialized field that offers him the opportunity to directly and positively impact his patients’ quality of life. Dr. Green especially enjoys taking time to build solid and long-term relationships with his patients and loves being able to share his optical knowledge with them. As a result, Dr. Green can help his patients maintain their most valued sense – their eyesight.
